Tim Forsmann
Tim Forsmann
Tim began working for Forsmann Accounting immediately after graduating from Kinman Business University in 1971 with a degree in accounting. He then earned his Licensed Public Accountant license in 1977 from the Board of Accountancy. He took over from his father, Cleo, as owner, in 1982. Tim and Beth sold Forsmann Accounting to Brandy McElroy on January 1, 2020.
Ken Forsmann
Ken Forsmann
Ken has worked for Forsmann Accounting since 1966. He also owns a ranch and is married to Bertie who works at FAS during tax season. Ken and Bertie have four children, two of whom have accounting degrees.
Brandy McElroy
Brandy McElroy
Brandy became the owner of Forsmann Accounting January 1, 2020. Brandy (one of Ken's daughters) received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Idaho in December 1997. Brandy became a Certified Public Accountant in 2000, is licensed in Idaho and is a member of the ISCPA and AICPA. Brandy began working at Forsmann Accounting in November 2008 after 11 years in public accounting at firms in Boise and San Diego. Brandy returned to Cottonwood to raise her three boys on the Prairie.

Founders of Forsmann Accounting
Cleo and Sylvia Forsmann
Cleo and Sylvia Forsmann founded Forsmann Accounting in 1949. The business was operated out of the Federal Land Bank which is now Harman Agency. Their son, Ken joined the business in 1964 with son, Tim joining in 1971. A new building was constructed in 1972 at the present location. Cleo “retired” in 1982 but continued to work until a year before his death in February, 2008. Sylvia worked by his side assembling & mailing tax returns and doing whatever was needed. Sadly, Sylvia passed away in early 2022.
Beth Forsmann
Beth Forsmann
Beth graduated from Kinman Business University in 1973 with an AAS in Legal Secretary and then spent five years working in banking. She married Tim in 1976 and has worked for Forsmann Accounting since 1988. They have four children, one of whom has a degree in accounting.
Lindsey McElroy
Lindsey McElroy
Lindsey began working for Forsmann Accounting February 1, 2019. She resides in Grangeville with her husband, Matthew McElroy, Brandy's stepson.
